About me
At Alivest, we believe in the power of capital to drive change. Our mission is to create a more inclusive, purpose-driven economy by helping individuals, businesses, and organizations find and deploy values-aligned capital. We work with changemakers—whether nonprofits, for-profits, or wealth holders—who want to unlock financial resources in ways that generate impact, build wealth, and shape a more equitable future.
Through strategic guidance, we empower our clients to navigate the financial landscape with clarity, confidence, and intentionality. Whether you're raising funds, exploring investment opportunities, or designing an impact strategy, Alivest is your partner in moving money with meaning.
My name’s jensyn.
I'm passionate about catalyzing positive change through strategic fundraising, impact investing, and visionary business strategies. With over fifteen (15) years of experience in driving social and economic change, I'm dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations to navigate the complex landscape of capital with purpose and intentionality.
A proud Arkansan, I returned to my roots ten years ago with a mission to foster equitable wealth-building opportunities, particularly for women in the South. This journey led me to found Southern Capital Project, a nonprofit committed to ensuring that entrepreneurs have access to the resources and support they need to thrive financially.
Currently, I'm at the forefront of strategic partnerships and business development at Invest for Better, an organization on a mission to empower women to take control of their finances and invest in alignment with their values, fostering both personal wealth and positive societal impact.
As an advocate for the impact economy and a Fellow of the Just Economy Institute, I'm deeply committed to cultivating an ecosystem that champions purpose-driven initiatives. This commitment led me to establish Alivest, where we specialize in crafting integrated strategies and capital solutions that prioritize people and purpose.
In my previous role as Director of Impact Capital at Heifer International, I spearheaded initiatives to provide affordable investment capital to farmers and cooperatives worldwide. My proudest achievement was leading the transformation of Heifer International's agricultural programs in the United States, creating a farmer-centric approach and mobilizing a diverse range of capital to support our vision.
Beyond my professional endeavors, I'm honored to serve as a governor-appointed member of the Minority and Women-owned Business Advisory Council, where I advocate for policies that support economic growth for all. I also have the privilege of teaching Arkansas's first impact investing and purpose-driven economy courses at the University of Arkansas.
